Tutorial 4 Photo Repair Photoshop

Photo Repair

You'll be able to easily repair the cracks in your photos, remove unwanted spots, and even move islands.

Starting out simple, let's look at removing unwanted spots using the Spot Healing brush. Like your other tools, you can find the Spot Healing brush in your tools bar. However, you may not see it right away. Similar tools are grouped together; so holding down your mouse on a tool group will reveal its other tools.

Once the Spot Healing brush is selected, you're going to want to select the Content-Aware option on the options bar. This will typically give you the best results. And when that's been set, the Spot Healing brush works like many of the other brush tools found in Photoshop. You can set your brush properties, like the size and hardness, under the Brush Picker to the left.

To remove unwanted spots, make sure that your brush is slightly larger than the area to be removed and click. Photoshop will magically remove the spot by analyzing the surrounding area for information to replace your spot with.
If you have a larger area that needs to be removed, you can perform a longer brush stroke. Once the brushstroke is complete, Photoshop again will fill in the area quite seamlessly.

Try This:
Remove the wrinkles on this lady taking years off of her age.

(try to make the image on the left match the one on the right)
Save this file as wrinkles.jpg on your disk!
